Though some wedding packages include a reception, you can add a reception to any wedding package.

The Park Vista Resort

The Park Vista Resort offers many private rooms for receptions.
They can accommodate Buffet Reception for smaller groups of 25 people
up to larger groups with 72 people
The lobby of the resort has a full-service bar available to your guests

They are located close to downtown Gatlinburg.
The vistas are beautiful and perfect for outdoor photography during your reception.
Parking is Free.

Two (2) hour lunch or dinner buffet receptions.
The cost is $1,599 + tax for the 1st 25 guests *
$59.95 + tax for each additional guest *

(Cash Bars, Open Bars, Wine & Beer Bars
can all be set up directly through the Park Vista Resort)
* Plus applicable state and local taxes and fees

Add an Additional Hour for $249 + tax.
Add a DJ/ Dance Floor for 2 Hours for $600.

We can accommodate Simple Receptions for smaller groups up to 40 people maximum.

Event Center Reservation Policies

Reservations for the event center are for the time reserved. Early access will not be available. Any event that exceeds their reserved time will result in additional fees.

Your space will be in a clean condition prior to your event.  Upon additional planning with us, you will need to incorporate your set-up time and clean up time into the rental agreement.  You are required to return the space to the same condition in which it was found.  Unless payment for clean-up is made, all trash must be collected and properly bagged. All furniture returned to its original position. 

Damage Policy: We require a valid credit card to be held on file for damage should it occur.

During your reservation time, we ask that all guests for the event remain inside the center during the reservation.

Our facility is a Non-Smoking. If smoking materials are discarded in planters, sidewalks, or grounds, an extra clean up fee will be imposed.  Any guests violating the smoking restrictions will be asked to leave by the event staff.

There is to be no cooking of any type in the event center.  All food must be prepared.

Alcohol policy:  Wine and Champagne for toasting is allowed.  Beer and Liquor will not be allowed. Client must comply with laws and not serve alcohol to minors on the premises at any time. Client agrees, for everyone's safety, to ensure alcoholic beverages are consumed in a responsible manner.

We reserve the right, in its exclusive discretion, to expel anyone who in its judgement is intoxicated or under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or who shall in any manner do or participate in any act jeopardizing the rights, use permit, or insurability of Chapel at the Park or the safety of its staff, guests, or building contents.

Decorating: We want to make your event special and a welcoming experience.  Therefore, every effort will be made to allow clients to prepare decorations reflecting their creative requirements.  We ask that only staff assist with rearranging and moving of furniture, including artwork, lighting, and seating.  No nails, screws, staples, or penetrating items should be used on the walls.  Any tape or gummed backing materials must be properly removed.  In extreme case of wall damage, the card on file will be charged.  We do not allow any glitter or confetti to be used in decorating.

Event Center Canclation Policy

A deposit is required to reserve the wedding date and time. You will have 72 hours from the time of reservation to cancel the wedding.  There will be a $50.00 cancellation processing fee. After 72 hours, the deposit is nonrefundable.

All weddings and events must be paid for in full one month prior to the wedding and events. Cancellation within 30 days of the wedding, all money paid will be nonrefundable. Weddings booked within 30 days of the reservation, if cancelled, there will be no refund available. Any changing of dates or times will incur at $50.00 fee. Multiple changes could result in additional fees. Weddings with outside vendors, including but not limited to, overnight lodging, receptions, limousine, and special order or personalized items, you will be responsible for any cancellation fees applied by the vendors above and beyond your deposit as we settle your account. If you choose to downsize your package, there will be a service fee added. For all services provided, our contract is with the couple only, regardless of who made the payment for the wedding and the services. In the event of Acts of God, technical or human error, Chapel at the Park assumes responsibility only up to the financial amount paid for the service by the bride and groom. If, for any reason, on the day of your wedding, your wedding time and/or date needs to be rescheduled, there will be a $200 fee. 

If you need to postpone the wedding, you will have one year from the date of postponement to reschedule. After one year the reservation will be cancelled.
